BRACE Africa International is pleased to announce the development of new community-focused projects across Masindi, Pakwach, Zombo, Namayingo, Jinja and Yumbe districts.
These initiatives are designed to respond to community priorities while creating meaningful opportunities for women and girls, strengthening access to essential services, and supporting improvements in basic community infrastructure and livelihoods.
Investing in Women and Girls
A key focus of the new projects will be supporting women and girls to participate more fully in social and economic development. The initiatives will promote opportunities that strengthen empowerment, skills, resilience, dignity, protection and participation in community decision-making.
BRACE Africa International recognizes that when women and girls have access to opportunities and essential services, families and communities are better positioned to build sustainable futures.
Strengthening Basic Services
The projects will also support efforts to improve access to and quality of basic community services. Depending on local priorities and project interventions, this may include support related to education, health, water and sanitation, livelihoods, community facilities and other essential services.
Our approach is centered on working with communities to understand their needs and develop practical interventions that contribute to lasting improvements.
Reaching Communities Across Uganda
The expansion into Masindi, Pakwach, Zombo, Namayingo, Jinja and Yumbe reflects BRACE Africa International’s commitment to reaching communities in different parts of Uganda and supporting locally driven development.
Through partnerships with communities, local stakeholders, development actors and other partners, BRACE Africa International seeks to create initiatives that are inclusive, sustainable and responsive to the realities faced by women, girls and vulnerable communities.
